Discord Server Updates
Thinking about rearranging the current server layout. At the moment we have most of the server behind the 18+ opt in role. I may move most of it back out of that space so that no one has to age verify just to hang out with us. I do want to keep a section for the 18+ stuff though. Likely a forum section, and three voice chats. One for hangouts, one for team games, and one for media with an auto mute on join.
There are also things I still want to prioritize for the server, like encouraging people to make their own spaces. The server has some boosts and that makes the experience there nicer for anyone who uses it. At level 2, which we’re nearing, anyone will be able to screen share in HD even without nitro. I also love the forum layouts for letting anyone make a topic with a tone that they want to see on the server. I have an OP’s Thread tag for stuff where people want to keep more ownership of the topic too. I also have made a role that will let people make server events. If you want to watch or play something with folks in this server, it’s great to be able to officially plan it. If you want that role please just ask!
I am aware this is all pretty stream of consciousness typing here though. I probably should look at good update blog posts formats to use in the future…
